No more VCE results by SMS after damning confidential report

VCE students will no longer receive their final score over SMS after a damning report found VCE authorities failed to perform basic risk assessments when they handed confidential student data to a digital marketing company.

Fairfax Media has obtained a Deloitte report ordered by Education Minister James Merlino after 2293 students received a text with their ATAR scores five days early.
