Marketing technology firm Snappy Kraken says it has started offering a text messaging platform for financial advisors.
The new service, Convos, offers the ability to send compliant text messages through a desktop app that integrates with various customer relationship management platforms, including Salesforce, Redtail Technology and WealthBox, according to Snappy Kraken.
The new platform costs $19 per month and 10 cents per each outbound message, while received messages are free, the company says.
Convos is currently in beta form and available to select registered investment advisor firms and broker-dealers, with plans to introduce it to the rest of the industry in the fourth quarter, according to Snappy Kraken.
Advisors can send messages on Convos from their existing office phone numbers or from a new number, with the option to send them to a specific client or a broader group, the company says.
