A warning has been issued over a text messaging scam involving retailer JB Hi-Fi that is targeting Australians over the past week.
The messages aren’t new, however, have increased in frequency in the past few days with many complaints starting to flood Reddit, OzBargain, Whirlpool and many other online communities.

In the text message, the receiver is told that they’ve won second prize in a monthly competition. There is a ‘personal code’ and link included to ‘check what you won.’
