Marketers may
wonder if in the age of instant-messaging apps and social media boom is SMS
still alive? The ever expanding surge in the smartphone penetration and in the
scenario where data has become a key, it naturally raises a question mark on
the longevity of the age old text messages. India already has over 220 million
smartphone users, we have well surpasses the US market to become the second
largest base of smartphone users in the world.
